How do I get involved?
It’s “Elementary, my dear Watson!”
There are lots of ways to get involved with the Napier Big Read!
Number 1 – Please complete our survey – it only takes 5 mins!

Connect with Us
We are on all social media channels, if you link to us you can easily find out about all our activities.
Share with Someone
You don’t have to make a video like this one, simply…
• Mention the #NapierBigRead on your social media
• Speak to other students about the #NapierBigRead
• Ask your tutor if they have anything planned for the #NapierBigRead.
Donate a Book
We are collecting books for the Edinburgh charity Streetreads.org. They distribute books to the city’s homeless. You will see the bookcases at each campus iPoint.
NOW ENDED – The last day for book donations was 14 February 2018 – International Book Giving Day (and also of course Valentine’s Day!), but if you missed this, you can still donate books, just get in touch.
Come to our Events
We have lots going on!
Books will be given FREE to all students and staff.
When you get a book, please shout your thanks (on social media!).
A photo of you and the book would make us even happier!
Organise an Event
This can be something small, like a book group. Or you could organise a debate. We will be running competitions, so you can watch out for these (prizes!).
Have a look on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for ideas on what everyone else is doing.
Even if you don’t want to organise something, there’s lots to do.
Read the Book!
It’s a book of short stories so you can dip into it. It’s set in the time of bodysnatchers Burke and Hare!
